However, True Elite Nobel Shungite from Russia is fragile and is very brittle which means it can break easily, and chip off into smaller pieces. Raquirite does not. Russian Nobel Elite has mineral deposits such as a ‘Rust’ color with dust, and after holding, will leave a black carbon residue on your hands. Also, when heated, Real Nobel Elite Shungite will crack, not melt. Raquirite (Anthracite coal) will burn easily.
Raquirite requires further scientific testing, and composition analysis, and care should be used if you purchase this ‘cheaper’ mineral.
