Each bowl is hand painted in a Lapis Blue color with the Manjushri Mantra “Om A Ra Pa Ca Na Dhih”. The Mantra is chanted for mastering new ideas, knowledge, and wisdom. Based on dialect, the meaning represents Insight, Reflection, Wisdom, Knowledge, Devotion, Prayer, and Opening to the Truth. The mantra symbols are painted along the edge of the bowl, with a beautiful engraved symbol of the Blue Buddha of Healing within the bowl.
Blue Buddha represents and signifies Purity, Healing, Tranquility, Ascension, and Peace. As an Enlightened and fully awakened One, he has reached or attained Nirvana. Buddha is revered as one who attained Bodhi, or great wisdom, and perfection, and is based on core principles within the different forms of the Buddhism faith.
