Frankincense resin comes from the Boswellia trees and has a high quality aroma, along with a history of usage dating back thousands of years. Used for Purification, Spiritual Cleansing, and Release of negative emotions, and Protection.
Myrrh is a gum based resin and oil that has a long rich history with written usage in many texts for medicinal, end of life and religious ceremonies, perfumery, jewelry, and other spiritual practices. Used for Purification, Spiritual Cleansing, Meditation, Focus, and to help bring Harmony and Balance.
Resin comes from the hardened sap of trees, and is released by the tree after injury to help heal, repair, and to help fight against infection. These resins are ethically sourced, and harvested by knowledgeable artisans who understand the cutting of the tree bark in a manner to preserve without harm. Your tin will be intuitively chosen, and similar to the one seen in the stock image (resin size, shape, and color may vary). Displays and crystals not included.
How to use:
Using a firesafe container such as an Abalone Shell, Cauldron or Brass Burner, put sand in the bottom to help absorb heat. Place on a heat resistant surface.
Place a piece of charcoal in the fire proof holder, and ignite the charcoal. Place the resin on top of the charcoal using tongs (for safety).
Start with a prayer honoring this as a special, sacred ceremony. Ground your energy, then ask for guidance and blessings from Mother Earth and Source Energy (or other special Spirits).
Based on your intention, respectfully light your incense for your ceremony with prayers.
You can use a Turkey feather to gently move the smoke energy.
Once completed, close out your ceremony with gratitude and prayers.
